Real Estate

1Sometimes it can be a challenge to find fun activities close to home, unless you know where to look. The Rolling Meadows Park District offers more than just great parks to explore, as a full-service community resource, the park district also offers a range of fun activities with the whole family in mind. There are regularly occurring events you can look forward to each month, as well as special happenings that you’ll want to plan for, so you don’t miss out on the fun. Check out what’s on tap for February and enjoy life in Rolling Meadows.

February means Valentines’ Day, and there’s no reason the kids can’t enjoy this holiday too. The Teen Center on Central Road is holding a special Teen Night for Valentine’s Day on Friday, February 8th. Open to 6th-8th graders, drop off your young teens for a night of fun games, dancing, Wii games and more. Concessions will be on hand as will a photo booth, perfect for the kids to take home a personal keepsake memory. Pre-registration is encouraged though walk-ins are welcome so long as space allows.

Do you remember your prom? Or perhaps you didn’t go for one reason or another. Either way, experience prom night at the upcoming 21 and over only Rolling Meadows Prom 2019. Being held at the Community Center on Pheasant Dr, on February 15th, this is the perfect way to get out for a night of fun and dancing with that special someone or a group of friends. Admission includes appetizers and 2 drinks per person.

If you have kids you don’t need to hire a sitter to enjoy Prom 2019, bring them in their favorite pjs as well, the Rolling Meadows Community Center is also playing host to its monthly Pajama Party Fun Night on February 15th too. It’s the ideal combination for everyone to let loose and have a good time. Plenty of games, crafts and a movie will be the order of the night for this kids’ only party. Space is limited for this special night out so pre-registration is required.

Sometimes Dads and their daughters need some special one-on-one time and Rolling Meadows Park District understands this. Every month the Community Center plays host to a Daddy Daughter Dance, where you can show your little girl, or girls just how special they are to you. Create memories to last a lifetime and strengthen the bond that only a father and daughter can have. The February Daddy Daughter Dance is set for the 22nd and includes dinner, a fun craft, photo booth, and of course, dancing.

Rolling Meadows is a wonderful community for the entire family, with plenty of fun activities and things to do for all ages.
